Junior Program
- Patrick Brown
Uxbridge CC offers instruction and gameplay for children and teens in it’s programs. Age eligibility of participants are Little Rocks (ages 7-12), Bantams (13-16), and Juniors 17-18. The programs run on Sunday afternoons, and players who register for the Junior program may also join weeknight leagues, with the exception of Fridays. After our practices, we have a volunteer run snack and social for all attendees.
Our goal is to create a well-rounded experience of curling, focusing on skills development and enjoyment equally for young players. During the season we host bonspiels, and also form teams to visit other clubs and participate in their bonspiels. We also arrange friendly interclub matches to give curlers an introductory experience of competition. We provide a full range of instruction in curling for novices and experienced players, both for recreational and competitive curling. Our coaches include adults and high school volunteers, and we have certified Youth, Club and Competition coaches to deliver a structured program for learning and enjoying the game.
Registration is in-person, in the early Fall. If you would like to learn more, please contact:
