Uxbridge and District Curling Club Rock Handle Sponsorship Program
The Uxbridge and District Curling Club has revised and updated the provisions to the existing Curling Rock Handle Sponsorship Program.
The change reflects our commitment to providing sustainable, high-value opportunities while ensuring consistent support for our club.
These revisions aim to strengthen relationships with our valued members and ensure the long-term success and sustainability of our curling community.
MEMBER ONLY SPONSORSHIP OFFER
The Rock Handle sponsorship fee will remain at $250 per handle.
Under the revised model, sponsorship terms will transition from a fixed five-year contract to an ongoing, unlimited-duration agreement, with a minimum commitment of five years.
This change is designed to incent program participation, provide sponsors better value and greater long-term visibility, and at the same time simplifying program administration.
To maintain fairness and continuity, when all rock handles have been allocated, new sponsorship opportunities will be managed through a right-of-first-refusal process. In this system, the longest-standing (oldest) sponsorship will be approached first should a sponsor choose not to renew or if any handles become available. This ensures an equitable and transparent method for managing turnover while honouring the loyalty of our existing sponsors.
Application deadline: April 30, 2026
Handle installation by September 2026
Interested sponsors can select their preferred rock handle on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note: All existing handle sponsors (2024-2025) will be incorporated into the revised program and will fall under these updated terms.
Current sponsorships will transition to the new unlimited-duration model (with a minimum five-year commitment), and participation in the right-of-first-refusal process will apply equally to both existing and future sponsors. This ensures consistency, fairness, and continuity across the entire sponsorship program.
Business, or ogranization sponsorships will be managed/priced seperately.
